I was born in Annecy, in the beautiful French Alps. I have a B.A. in English from a French university and I intend to become an English teacher in France.

I changed my plans after meeting my English husband and moving to the UK in 2008. A few years later, I trained as a secondary MFL teacher (French and Spanish) at Manchester Metropolitan University and obtained my PGCE in 2012.

I then worked as a teacher and later as a Head of Department in several schools in North Yorkshire for 10 years.

Alongside my teaching, I also worked as an examiner for Pearson (GCSE French reading) and AQA (GCSE French writing), and I tutored teenagers and adults on the side.

In August 2023, I left the classroom to focus on tutoring and resource writing, a decision I have never regretted.
